Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Harriet and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born to a Architect, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. Hethress enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. The war was a terrible time for him, and Emerald does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Emerald was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Being a Barber kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She is greedy.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Fivin was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To be a Mortician again; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
