History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bendoo grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sarah was born with her mother's beautiful face. Sarah abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
