History: Vapula hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Mreksh was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: Lewis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lewis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
