History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Dain alone in the world. History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her youth she was a Bather, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country.
