Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the north. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Serpent was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and many illithids want her driven away

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Elegant was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
