History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Veit fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Verin hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.
