Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a whip on his belt. His white hair is smooth and relatively long. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.
Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hobart fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A stocky lighter skinned woman, she wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Her hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. Her face is scarred and worn.
Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is an amazing painter.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.
Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

Description: This man is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: Merihim wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Warlock, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: He was born in a small forest village. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He bought a nunchaku and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His blonde hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his small brown hat.
Personality: He is mildly Dwarf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends
History: The child of a Shepherd, who enjoyed hunting, Traubon was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Traubon took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up morningstar and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Portia grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She takes great joy in being the best Engraver in town.
History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
