Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Wiggan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Wiggan. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she has a crush on the local healer

Description: 3'6" and muscular, this northern man wears dull tan sweaters, loose violet pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed warhammer, just in case. His white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and retire the richest man in the north

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Volen is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

History: Born in the north to a Hunter, Leucis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
