History: Syllin hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Syllin was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has worked as a Butcher like her mother before her.
