Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Skak grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Skak. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. After a long history of fighting, Nazdûg and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Dee was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she is unsatisfied with her job

She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. She has worked as a Herbalist like her father before her.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult.
