History: Farideh hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Farideh began to lead the lost caravan. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Helja has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available she will default to her hammer. Her scarlet crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. She has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Edge's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mortician.
