Her father taught her the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. After coming to the age of reason, Hillanot took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.
