History: She is a Jackalwere in disguise. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. The war was a terrible time for her, and Joan does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Joan hails from a village terrorized by drow. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
