History: Howard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
