History: Driindar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Baradad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Baradad was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
