History: Paelias was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Oriel was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
