History: Shadow was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). During his travels, Shadow and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Shadow discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Shadow fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'0" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty yellow coat over it. With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Gomory isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Doctor business.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Gomory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Gomory was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Anthony grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Anthony. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Sumnes reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Joan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
