Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Painter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Pelt never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Valanthe's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
