Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a dagger on his belt, and is pretty ugly. He keeps his long white hair kept up in a rat tail. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Leaf was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Spy. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She tends to her Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Lagazi was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: This woman loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. The war was a terrible time for her, and Left-Handed does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Left-Handed was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When Left-Handed reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions.
