History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Katherine was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Scribe. She tends to her Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a hammer on his belt, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His auburn hair is long and unkept. His green eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed brown hat.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Oloric was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Oloric's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Oloric never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Armorer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rieta grew up listening to her mother's many stories. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Faran lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to unite with his sister
