History: Merihim hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He married young, but lost his spouse to goblins. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rimple grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rimple. He would ruin relationships and cause injury.
