The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Heskan took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor he uses now. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
