History: Shautha hails from a village terrorized by goblins. When Shautha reached her early adolescence her Half-Orc mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lone fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Nutae was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Nutae never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Srorthen was born with his mother's beautiful face. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Fisher father left him crippled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
