History: She was born in a small desert village. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. History: Hugh was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: Ishgha lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Tawna never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Nikki isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Nikki was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nikki fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
