History: Symma was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and sabotage a competitor
