History: Cressel was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a spear, but if one is not available she will default to her halberd. Her chestnut hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her red eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: Born in the south to a Shepherd, Ellyjoybell learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Cressel was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Cressel's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Cressel and his spouse have recently divorced.
