Description: He wears long strands of sapphire and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He carries with him a set of crossbows on his belt, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He keeps his white hair in a flapper bob. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his red eyes.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Marbas hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Marbas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Tabaxi, and stands approximately 5'10". She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, and her gloved hand is found clutching a spear. Her fur is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are hazel.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When Merihim reached his early adolescence his Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Merihim and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and obtaining odd cultural half-orc artifacts is his passion

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has brown eyes.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gimgen grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he's repulsed by the pc

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Maiathah grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Maiathah. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Description: An older man who has the majority of his body covered in plate, he is not a threatening figure. His moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This woman wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a sword, but if one is not available she will default to her greataxe. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Bolhild will drive conversation. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Barrister they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Carpenter, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
