Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a grey deerstalker hat and grey clothes. He wears a colorful flower in his golden hair. He has gray eyes.
Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Morkral lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved out south to avoid the crime she committed. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: Her skin is bronze and flawless. She wears professional attire. She is an epitome of beauty. She wears a feathered hat to cover her moderate length white hair. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Katherine embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Katherine was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Katherine was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Katherine's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Cumpen isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
Motivation: To end her boredom; and she is greedy

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. His hair is long and black with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Assassin work with an outfit from a few towns over. Assassin work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: She wears a brown shirt, with a grey mid length skirt with grey tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. She carries with her a set of daggers, each one with a emerald on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. She has slicked back red hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Whurdred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.
