Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, marred by sweets. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Veit fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He uses divination through singing.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and balancing his hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult

History: Emma was born with her mother's beautiful face. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His auburn hair is long and unkept. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.
Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. During his travels, Zogdûsh and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Zogdûsh discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Zogdûsh fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Tabaxi, and stands approximately 5'5". She prefers to wear brown clothing when she does not wear armor, and her gloved hand is found clutching a crossbow. She wears a colorful flower in her orange fur. Her blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. The war was a terrible time for her, and Dagger does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: The child of a Tailor, who enjoyed hunting, Dagger was taken on many hunting expeditions. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Dagger took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up crossbow and armor she uses now. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: Jarana was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk.
