His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Engraver born in the past three hundred years. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Engraver.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born in the east to a Dilettante, Hobart learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He struck the Dilettante job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and expand his business
