History: Born in the west to a Baker, Birel learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: Aura was born with his mother's beautiful face. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Gifted from a young age, Philomena studied abroad. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Philomena grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Philomena. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and balancing her hectic life and new carter responsibilities is difficult
