Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Whurdred lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Whurdred alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.
