History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her youth she was a Stylist, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: The dark-skinned woman stands 4'7" and wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Sutha is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Sutha was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. After a long history of fighting, Sutha and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Curran grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Ilanis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Zunn was born with his mother's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Tabaxi culture. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Traki was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
