History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and his religion dominates his actions

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

She keeps her red fur in a pixie cut. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her amber eyes.

Personality: Three is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Three was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Three's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quilla fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Jheri hails from a village terrorized by giants. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and revenge

Description: A plain young-adult man, he has the majority of his body covered in plate. His hair is chestnut and very short. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Umpen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Umpen hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
