History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She found a children's book about a Halfling Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ilanis grew up listening to her father's many stories. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Habor and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Habor discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Habor fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
