History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pennie fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dragonborn companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Mreksh was born with his father's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
