History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Umpen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears violet leather gloves, a violet jacket, and tight pants. Her white hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Rosalind was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Rosalind liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and further expansion of business

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bowyer who has hired him part-time. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Chad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His first spouse was a Baker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and regain custody of his son

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Theobald hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and someone believes him a fraud
