Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Ar-Baruk's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Ar-Baruk took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up falchion and armor he uses now. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Marigold was a troubled youth. Marigold decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dagnal grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
