History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Healer mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She dropped out of school before completing her studies.
