Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Heian's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Through the years after Soveliss was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Soveliss's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She has all her life been fascinated with painting.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Layabout. She has worked as a Layabout like her father before her.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and further expansion of business

Description: The dark-skinned woman stands 5'1" and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. She wears her chestnut hair down. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Body Guard. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She tends to her Body Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Performer. He became a Performer soon after.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against goblins

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
