History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Rael alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Rael was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Fragrant hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a mace and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. While she appears to be a normal Tabaxi, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and regain custody of her son

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Ovina was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ovina's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable
