History: Chem was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. He's also a talented Fletcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ploughman responsibilities is difficult; and doesn't want to be a ploughman and was forced into it by his family

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Heian never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Jo's homeland. Jo decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
