Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Unemployed, and he later adopted a second daughter.
