Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the north were limited. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she seems to be bored by most things

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. Shifting enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Kristryd was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She moved out west to avoid the crime she committed. Being a Carter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

After coming to the age of reason, Surina took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
