History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Verna fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the east to a Soapmaker, Grûblik learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer.
