History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Naal was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Carpenter. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Brakka grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Brakka. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ombul embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Ombul was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Masseuse for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
