He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Kaladan and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Kaladan discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Kaladan fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

She's also a talented Miner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

He worked as a nervous Dyer and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
