Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born to a Detective, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and she feels threatened by others

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her parents enrolled her in a Cleric school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aerdeth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Body Guard and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ralf embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Banker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and further expansion of business
