History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Merla was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Trynnicus was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Fisher. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
