Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He carries a battered quarterstaff and tarnished rapier as well. He has shaved his head bald. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Morkral fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To end his boredom.

Personality: Borgu speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and wants his loneliness to end

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a tight fitting grey shirt and pants. His silver hair is singed and shortened. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: Ernest was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a tan shirt with thin black vertical stripes and grey pants. With a patchy golden beard and wild golden hair. His ears are large.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Theriatis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theriatis grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: Her skin is bronze and flawless. She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She is an epitome of beauty. Her red hair is well kept. Her eyes are likewise brown. Her teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Mardnab was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Mardnab decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting illithids, the young Valorean began to lead the lost caravan. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: An older man who is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, he is not a threatening figure. His chestnut hair is heavily combed to the left. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Gifted from a young age, Wrenn studied abroad. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of dire rats
